June/July 2006:
Haiti Through the Eye of the Artist: featuring the work of Emmanuel Dostaly and Michael Brudent
The CASK FOUNDATION is proud to present the art exhibition, "Haiti Through the Eye of the Artist: featuring the work of Emmanuel Dostaly and Michael Brudent".
This exhibition will be the first in a series of exhibitions of contemporary Haitian Artists living in the United States and their views/memories of Haiti.
When: The exhibition will take place June 20th. through July 16th, 2006, with the opening reception taking place on Saturday, June 24th, 2006 from 6-8pm

AUGUST
2005 : the 5th Annual CASK Staff Art Exhibition
The Creative Art Space for Kids Foundation
is proud to announce the 5th Annual CASK Staff Art
Exhibition. A selection of volunteer Artists make
up the staff of CASK, dedicating their time to sharing their
love of art with children. Their roles are not just as artists,
but as mentors as well.
Some of the Participating Artists include:
Ashley Sullivan, Nicole Amendola, Jason Jacks, Laura Saliba,
Carlo Thertus and Karen Michel

JUNE
2005 : Origination
The Creative Art Space for Kids Foundation
is proud to present the art exhibition “Origination”,
featuring the artwork of some of the newly graduated FIT
Fine Arts Students. Participating Artists include Mary Blair,
Ilona Chuzhmir, Marisa Demarco, Erin-Marie Elman, Maria
Fitzpatrick, Jason Jacks, Alexis Mixter, Olga Novoa, Kenneth
Park, Regina Ruff and Virginia Swierupski.

June
2005 : Benefit for The New York AIDS Coalition
On Saturday, June 4 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm,
the Creative Art Space for Kids Foundation held a Silent
Auction to benefit the New York Aids Coalition at their
art gallery in Lynbrook. The benefit auctioned off wooden
hearts that were painted by Lynbrook and Elmont High School
students and faculty, and from local artists.
“This collaborative effort between two schools and
a non-profit arts center shows the desire for many different
people to help find a cure for this all-encompassing illness
that affects patients and families alike,” responds

MARCH
2005 : LYNBROOK HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT EXHIBITION
“Portraits of Self Reflection”
The Creative Art Space for Kids Foundation
is proud to present the art exhibition “Portraits
of Self Reflection”, featuring various approaches
in self expression through the self portraits created by
over 50 Lynbrook High School Students.

The
BOOK * ART * JOURNAL art exhibition examines
the use of the book as both a vessel for storing thoughts
and ideas as well as a form of visual storytelling. The
participating selection of international artists explore
the many functions of the book form including altered books,
artist books, sketchbooks, art journals and more.
Exhibition Dates: November 1-30, 2003
Opening Reception: Saturday November 8, 2003 from 6-9pm
