On Saturday, June 4 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm,
the Creative Art Space for Kids Foundation held a Silent
Auction to benefit the New York Aids Coalition at their
art gallery in Lynbrook. The benefit auctioned off wooden
hearts that were painted by Lynbrook and Elmont High School
students and faculty, and from local artists.
“This collaborative effort between two
schools and a non-profit arts center shows the desire for
many different people to help find a cure for this all-encompassing
illness that affects patients and families alike,”
responds Carlo Thertus, CASK Director.
